Course System Requirements
Here is what you should need to use the Certified Professional Food Manager (CPFM) online course:
- Your Computer
- Internet Browser IE or Netscape version 6 or higher
- Macromedia Flash Plug-in - most recent version
- A connection to the Internet
Your Computer
Your computer should be a multimedia computer with currently supported version of Microsoft® Windows®, FreeBSD, Linux®, Unix, or Apple® Macintosh®. Your Internet connection speed should be at least 56 kbps.
Internet Browsers
The CPFM online course is optimized for Microsoft Internet Explorer® 6.0+, and Firefox (1.5+). Please check your browser version before entering the online courses. Having the most recent version of one of these browsers will help ensure a trouble-free experience. The course may function with other browsers however this is not supported by us.
Plug-ins
Plug-ins allow your browser to play a variety of Internet based media, such as audio, video, and animations.
You must have a functioning plug-in for Flash enabled in your web browser. Please visit the Adobe Macromedia Flash site to get the player if needed.
